I am in need of live rock pretty bad and I am on a very tight budget.

Is anyone local selling it for $2.00 a lb?

If so I am very interested. Thanks
 
Same here I need about 300lbs. I was going to order wholesale but if I can get it local for a good price I would rather do that.

I am taking down one of the two reef tanks that I have and in about 2 weeks will have about 80 Lbs available. I have had the rock in a 75 Gallon tank for about the last 1 1/2 years. I would be will to sell for $2.00/lb
 
not a bad idea and I thought of that but I ran out of time. I am moving into my house in less then 3 weeks. the plan was to use marcos rock and seed it with some LR I have in my sump but now I have to stock my 210. currently I have about 150 lbs in my 65

What type of rock is it? I'm looking for between 50-80lbs of Tonga branch if you've got it.

I work for a company called Monitor Controls, in Hauppauge. We make various parts for elevators.

Woodworker's rock is probably more established then the rock I have (mine has been active in a sump) but if that doesn't work out, LMK and we should be able to work something out.

I am noticing the same thing... What do you do efisher? Also, where are you a SCUBA instructor? I got certified years ago at Ocean Rock but my fiance is looking to get certified over the next few months in prep for our honeymoon next year.
 
I used to work at a VAR but have since left and am out doing my own thing with a few buddies that are also CCIE's. We do professional services for organzations. (Routing,Switching, IPT,etc). As far as Scuba I got certified 18 years ago when I was 12 and got certified as an instructor when I was 18. I still teach occassionally to usually private classes at peoples homes. My father teaches at a dive shop in northport. I wish i had more time to teach but unfortnately I dont. If you are interested PM me and I will set you up with the dive shop in northport.
 
I am also an IT guy I am currently working with the LIRR for the summers ( while I am still in school ) as a network engineer.

Will anyone have openings at their place come September? :D
