In Tank CAULERPA PROLIFERA white cotton?

Hello RC Macroheads!

So I got some C Prolifera for my tank. I love it so far. It's sprouting new growth already. (Scared and happy!) But on some of the cut ends, there are these little white cotton growths. Looks like it might be a fungus? It's in the center of the plant in the picture below. Is this normal?

It looks like its just part of the root/anchor system. It's probably trying to grab a hold of something. Nothing to worry about!
