In-Wall tank stand question

I'm building an in-wall tank and want the tank to be flush with the wall. Is it a problem if the edge of the tank is not on the stand, so that the drywall lines up with the edge of the tank?

I would try to keep it on the stand and just put molding around to hide that it is not flush
