I'm doing a 120G in-wall and I will like the glass to be flush with the drywall. I do understand that the tank pressure points are in the frame. Would the tank be ok seating in a stand where the front of the tank is supported by plywood only? It will only be offset by 1/2 inch.
Hope you understand. I tried a drawing for you. Once again,
The whole tank will be seating on top off plywood, and the plywood will be supported by 2x4s and 2x6s. But the plywood on the front, will stick out by 1/2" and the tank will seat on top of the plywood. So, 1/2 of the tank will be supported by plywood only.
What do you think?
