Inappropriate fish suggestions

I'm looking for some stocking help

I currently have a sps tank with peaceful wrasses and anthias, and I also have a 30g tank with lps and zoanthids that currently has no fish.

The 30g has been fishless for a few months and I'm ready to add a few. I'd like to add fish that would be inappropriate for the sps tank.

The 30g has about 25lbs of nice live rock, and is barebottom (not changing). It also has a hob skimmer and about 40x total water turnover per hour.

My first thought was an angler of some kind, but I leave town a few days a week, every week for work and I don't think I could keep up on feeding it properly. The sps tank has an autofeeder that feeds nls pellets a few times a day, and I'd like the 30g to have the same.

With all that in mind, I'm thinking about a falco hawkfish and either a Pseudochromis aldabraensis, or a Pseudochromis diadema. (both being too aggressive for the sps tank)

I'd really like to have a third fish if anyone has any suggestions? maybe a wrasse of some kind.

Does anyone see any major problems with this plan?

The tank does have a tight fitting lid.

Thanks for any help/insight you can offer.

Thanks Small Alien,

that was my first thought, but didn't know if it would scuffle with the hawkfish since they inhabit the same areas. It's still at the top of the list though

would any of the more boisterous fairy wrasses work in this situation? Or is the tank too small? I don't want anyone to be cramped

How about something larger and showier like a splendid pseudochromis? Maybe a pair?

Wow, those spendids are sweet. Would they be ok with he hawkfish?

I'm assuming I can't mix pseudo species, correct? Maybe a pair of those and the hawk.

Are they hard to pair?

I dont think an angler would need to be feels daily, so that could work. It a small scorpion fish, leafish, dwarf lion, mantis shrimp are all possibilities.

Well if it were me, I would try a frogfish; they are fascinating. I do not think they need daily feeding but others on this board no much more than I about them.

I figured the fairy wrasses would get too large, just wanted to hear it from someone else, thanks.

A sohal tang was at the top of the list, but it might fight with the baby vlamingi I just added... just kidding of course.

I think i'll look more into the frogfish, its what i've wanted to add all along. I know they don't need daily feeding, but didn't know if it would suffer over the long term from me being gone 2+ days a week.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, it's really appreciated.
