Increasing biodiversity and microfauna population

Hi all,

Having started my tank with dry rock and dry sand, I can only assume my biodiversity and microfauna populations are minimal. I would like to increase these. All I have used in the tank is a bottle of Bio Spira when doing my cycle, but since have relied on things coming on on corals that I have bought (although I dip all my corals too, so I'm not sure how much I have gained from that)

Do any of you have brands you use/have heard work the best?

You might want to look into www.IPSF.com I believe they sell detrivore kits if I'm not mistaken.
