Indo cowfish

Saw a cool fish that I know nothing about. It's an indo cowfish. They said it is not toxic like other cow fish.

Anyone know about these in the reef? Good to keep?

What species of cowfish? Lot's of cowfish species from that area. Some really prone to releasing toxin, and some less so. Though all species have toxin.

That's all they said. Indo. They are at exotic aquatic.

Looks like a thorn back cowfish.

That narrows it down reasonably

There is a small risk with those. Generally running plenty of fresh carbon and good protein skimming will minimize potential problems. Also making sure the fish is good and healthy, and not harassed by other tank mates will go a long ways to making them a good fish to have.
