Here is the letter that looks like there is a ban

But someone posted on reef builders that its just a miscommunication what fo you think and

I read it...
To me it reads "currently having computer problems... be back soon"
One department can't get in sync with the other so they can't verify 1 of the requirements in a 2 part sign off system..

This!

Had to come over here from the other site to see reactions, as over there: thousands of people are losing jobs, and the hobby is under attack, fake news, conspiracy theories, and the world is ending... I think I may have covered everything. Lol

I read it as others have. Basically a miscommunication between governing bodies, and until that communication gets sorted, yes it is a ban, but only temporarily.

I agree but how long is temporary

Is it enough time for wholesalers to raise the prices
Because once the prices go up if very rarely goes down

Indonesia ban or no ban

From what i have heard
So far there are no new updates one department is not letting the coral have all the documents so we can't import

Some people are saying its going to be years until we start getting stuff from Indonesia like Hawaii they will need to make scientific surveys of the ocean etc

Personally i feel its a matter of time(6-12 months) that others get involved removing the woman behind all this
she is not only hurting the local economy, she is hurting the reef, the moment the reef is of no value to the locals they will destroy it with pollution, overfishing and not being cautious of the coral
besides for all the bleaching events around the world they will see no value in reviving dead reefs why put money and effort into something that cannot generate income

I'm guessing not a complete ban as DD has plenty of Indonesian stuff listed regularly. Got a nice indo long tentacle plate coral from them a couple weeks ago.
