I purchased an Elegance Coral online and received it around the beginning of February of this year. After reading about Elegance Corals today I went back to my records and realized I purchased the Indonesian Elegance Coral.
The day after I put it in the tank it opened up and was beautiful. Up until a week and a half ago everything seemed to be going fine. It opened up everyday and continued to be very pretty. But then at the beginning of this month it started to look like something was wrong with it. He stopped spreading out as much as he had been and over the past week and a half he has been steadily looking worse.
After reading other posts on the Indonesian Elegance Coral it seems that my guy is pretty much doomed.
I have two questions: #1 Is there anything at all I can do for my elegance coral to make him come back or do I just wait for it to die? And if he does die, how do I know when to remove him from the tank? This was my first LPS and I'm not quite sure what I need to be looking for.

Lighting: Two Lamps with two Compact Bulbs each. One 10,000K and 1 Actinic in each lamp
Seaclone Protein Skimmer 150
2 Emperor 400 Pro Series Bio-Wheel Power Filters
2 Top Fin 50 Powerheads
1 Dual Propellor Driven Powerhead
2 heaters (one at each end of the tank)
