Information required on coral!

What is this, I bougt it tinking it was a normal filterfeeding coral,

It walks
It buries itself under the CC
It plants itself
sometimes it opens
Sometimes it does not

This is the craziest thing I have evr seen and I love it

Any ideas???

Do yourself a favor, and research before impulse buying, you could have asked online what it was, or at the lfs you bought it from.

Helps to learn before you actually get it.

Looks like an interesting thing though.

I did know the name but am terrible remembering, my research was simple, what does it eat what are its flow and light requirements is it reef safe, simple really. Just one of those imulse buys

Cavernularia its a type of Sea Pen, Guess I will have to double the substrate at the front as well! Likes to have about 5" to burry its foot in which I only have at the back of my aquarium, he is well worth it though
