Infraction Points

Just wanted to see if anyone knew where I could find a list of what not to do to get infractions? At the time I didn't know there was such a thing as the Feedback forum. I got three points in one night on here and don't want to be kicked off. Thanks!

It does not list a points deal, but im sure if you email a moderator they will explain it all to you.

also where does it list your infraction points? I could not find that.

When I go to your profile page, I don't see an "infraction" tab (like I have on my page). How did you find out you'd been given points? I was notified by Private Message. I posted something for trade before I'd been a member for 90 days - thats how I got my "naughty" point. LOL

Only forum on the internet I've found that treats you like you're in grade school. Oh oh, you didn't get a hall pass, you have demerits now...

I know it's their forum and it can be run however they wish, but I just sit back amused most of the time.

My "infraction" was from like 3 months ago and its still on my profile (although it has expired). I feel thats a bit excessive - like its left there to shame me into behaving, which isn't likely!

Just Click on the lower part where it is listed and it will go away as long as 30 days are up. FYI

Maybe this is a dial-up thing, but I've looked, and I don't see anything to click on. All I can do is open the post that they originally edited. There isn't anything else to click on. And it has been way more than 30 days - I double-checked. But thanks Bill.

@zachb, some people act like children and treating them like it is the only way they will listen.

@Needbiggertank, other people can't see your infractions. Except for us.

@nightfire, I'm not sure what your point even is? Don't complain when you get scolded just because you didn't bother to find out what the rules are.

FTR, infractions are rarely terminal, and mostly serve as a heads up. Unless you get them repeatedly of course. Most people just follow our rules after the first one.

It's more efficient than just pm'ing. I have pm's from 2006 that have never been read. I'll wager if people don't read them they think they don't have to address the problem.
