Initial burn in on Phoneix HQI

I just got some Phoenix 14K's from you and was wondering how long you recommend for the initial burn in period?

Hi,

You should have a true color rendition of that lamp after 70-80hrs. I think mine took a little longer, but other people have reported lower.

Should I run a normal photo period the first time i turn it on, or should I keep it on for a longer period of time.

I never recommend running your normal photoperiod when you change to a different lamp. I would recommend starting off at about half of your normal time then working up from there over a period of a couple weeks.

If you are going from Phoenix to Phoenix, then I would say ok.

I would do a 4hr photo period to start with, upping to your regular photoperiod within 10-14 days.
