Finally did it - bought my first anemone. Already had a small (1.25") TR False Perc hosting a large hammer. I've always wanted one but was hesitant that it may wander and kill other coral.
Created a rock outcroping away from the rest of the rock structure hoping it would stay on the outcroping. Didn't work - first night he moved to the bottom of the tank under the hammer. Hammer and nem were touching but neither were reacting. Perc was still hosting the hammer. I moved the hammer to the opposite end of the tank for fear they would sting one another. Clown just hovered where the hammer was all evening. Next morning he was hosting the nem.
It has been great watching them interact. Well worth the threat from the nem to the rest of the coral.
