With nothing going on today I convinced my wife we needed to go Terra Hautte. We got to inland about 12:30 and as always it was impressive. I havent been there for close to 5 years now. Not a whole lot has changed but it is a great place. If theres anyone who hasent been you need to go. The employees there were great and let me go walk around in the back for a hour or two. Unbelivable selection of clowns. Mostly perc/osc but some of best color I have seen. I was blown away by the size of some of the clowns. I know marrons get big but I havent seen percs/osc that size. Quiet a bit of mis barred ones as well. They also had some naked osc. I love the look of the stripeless. They also had some bangiis that could eat mine whole. If anyones looking for a adult tankraised pair they have them. I talked to one of they guys in the back and he said that they have not had any breeding this summer. He think it is because of the temp back there. It is hot. The coral was great and saw some huge pieces. All in all great trip I recomend it.

They had plenty of breeding last winter when SEASL went, and no signs of raising the plenty. I was a little dissappointed. But then, my interests differ from most.

When I was talking to him he said that they had a ton of breeding last winter, but it stopped when it got hot. They only had a couple of 6 week old clowns and some decent sized baby bangiis today. The little clowns were cute. they were about ( : _ ) <---- that big

I got a pair of baby ocellaris from there about a year and a half ago and they had hundreds of babies swimming around at the time. One died without much warning or obvious reason, the other has been with me the whole time since starting up. Great fish.

I wish they had been raising the babies when I was there. I would have loved to pick their brains. I asked about it and they said they were not raising fish at that time...
Oh well, I guess I hit them at the wrong time. Lots of nests, but not a rotifer in the place and no signs of rearing fish.

I wanted to find out more about bangiis. He did say they have over 80% sucsess of the bangiis hatched. That sounded pretty good to me.
