Instant Ocean soft gel food

Anyone using soft gel food from Instant Ocean (brine shrimp, krill, cyclop eeze, seaweed)? Is it good? They say it is similar to frozen.

Thinking in buing for my Imperator. What do you think?

It takes some getting used to. Some club members tried it. The fish were initially scared of it, but eventually some went for it. I'm not sure what the benefit of it is, over regular frozen.

My problem is that here in Brazil i can't find frozen food of good quality, like San Francisco Bay, etc.
This food could be a good choice, if the quality is good and the fish accept it.

I worked at a local fish store while in college, and the Marineland rep. Would always bring huge samples of the gel food for us. Naturally, I took them all home for my fish. Like SDguy said, it took a while for my fish to recognize it as food, but once they did, they loved it. It was a favorite of my marine Betta and even my geometric Pygmy anthias, who is normally my pickiest eater (only fish that won't eat pellets/flakes) loved it.

Edit: I ran out long ago and haven't bought any more, but if it was the only choce, I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

They toss a lot of it in free with the 5 gallon buckets of salt. The seaweed blend is a huge hit with my angels and tangs, they ate it right away. The seaweed grazing block just drifted around the tank and never got touched. The marine chips flake food got a few difficult feeders to accept prepared foods.

Probably wouldn't use any of it as a staple, but I'll buy the chips and seaweed blend again.

My new juvi imperator nibbles the seaweed blend, but mostly eats nori and picks rock.
