Intant Ocean Vs. Ocean Pure

I switched to Instant Ocean salt mix about 3 months ago when I had trouble keeping my Alk up. I had been using Oceanic previously. I have success using IO, but I recently won a box of Ocean Pure salt in a raffle. SO my question is should I switch to Ocean pure or stick with IO? Would I be asking for trouble if I tried using the OP for a while?

Does anyone have experience using both of these in the same tank?

I recently switched to OP from IO. The reason I switched was I inquired what some of the people that have "idol" tanks use. I contacted Steve Weast www.OregonReef.com and thats what he uses. I have only done 2 water changes so far so I won't know for awhile if it was a good idea or not.

I would try to be consistant in salts. If you switched away from OP...dont use that box. See if a LFS will give you credit or something. I use Reef Crystals and like it very much. My pH (8.2), Magnesium(1350), Calcium(380) and ALK(8) are almost perfect everytime.
