Indeed.. I read through a few dozen pages of that thread and got most of my answers on fish comparability that I was looking for.. Amazing how the same exact question was asked and answered sometimes as often as every 3rd or 4th post because people don't want to read the recent previous inputs.

Yeah, that is true. However there are a LOT of variables such as tank size that make the answer to a question different than a similar question.

the last split of the thread (it has been split multiple times) can be found here. Note however, that the total thread is much longer; I have been the only person to answer the thread for the last five years.

I have a bit of a list for my 40 breeder obviously not all of them will fit it's just a general list of community fish I'm looking at
Already have a orange spotted goby and a flametail blenny in there. They treat each other well. I'm housing a baby kole tang for a friend who's moving. Him and the blenny are oddly inseparatable. Obviously won't be keeping him, fun fish to watch/ makes me want an upgrade.

Get well soon Steve!! I need some guidance in stocking my 65, I have a large sump & fuge now. I do supplement the tank with pods or Eco matter so not sure if some of the below fish would be ok to add.

Currently have:
Helfrichi firefish
Randall goby with candy cane pistol
Barnacle blenny
Possum wrasse
Mandarin

Possible additions:
Gold assessor - do I have room for a trio or should I stick with one?
Another wrasse - looking at a carpenter, mccoskers, labouts, rhomboid, or pink streaked
Anthias - can I do a pair of resplendent, carberryi, or sunset?
Filefish - still on the fence about one
Kole tang

About to pull the trigger on a fish purchase but learned to run it by Steve and the rest of the RC crew. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Current Tank Description:
80G Tall DT. 20G sump with liverock. 15G refugium with macro. Tunze 9010 skimmer. Carbon reactor. Soft coral and LPS.

Current stock:
Kole tang
Melenarus wrasse
Yellow coris wrasse
Clown pair
Royal gramma
Lawnmower blenny

Pending purchase:
Flame hawk
Yellow watchman goby
Common blue streak cleaner wrasse?

I searched the original thread and narrowed it down to those two additions and I'm now curious about the cleaner wrasse, as I don't feel my tank would be very welcoming to a cleaner shrimp, and I might like the behavior and idea of the cleaners. Thanks for any feedback.
