Interceptor for Red Bug Water Solution

I am getting ready to treat for red bugs on my 125G tank. I know a large tablet will treat approximately 380G so I am planning on using 1/3 each week for 3 weeks. My question is if I crush the pill and mix it with 500ml of RO water in order to create a medicated solution that I can just dose into the tank can I use 166ml for my first treatment and then just store the rest in the fridge for a couple weeks until I use it all or will the medication go bad?

I would only dissolve what you will use per treatment.

Unfortunately I already dissolved the entire pill in 500ml (right before I saw your post) so I guess this can be more of an informative thread on the ability to store a liquid interceptor treatment for a period of 3 - 4 weeks in the fridge. Rather than having to cut the pill into 3 equal segments it seemed easier to me to be able to dissolve the whole thing and split it up based on an actual unit of measurement. I guess time will tell...

Why is it hard to cut the pills in thirds? I just did it as I also have redbugs and just did my first treatment 4 days ago. Hopefully the disolved solution hold up for 3 more weeks for you.
