Interceptor half-life

How long will the effects of interceptor last in a tank, without carbon or water changes (e.g. natural half life)?

No idea, but it would be interesting to know. If the natural bacteria in the system doesn't break it down, seems like you could leave it in the system for a couple of weeks to kill future hatchings vs 3 separate treatments.
Other problem may be how long can coral handle the medication before being harmed. Could be an easy test in a small quarantine system.

well, my [accidental] easy test has killed off all my shrimp, so I at least know that peppermint shrimp die almost right away and cleaner shrimp after a 3 days... coral seems fine.

this was in my 10g Fishless-QT. I didn't even add it straight. I was giving an interceptor dip in a separate container to some new coral and also to a ball of Chaeto. I think the Chaeto absorbed some of the interceptor and/or I did a very poor job of cleaning it post-bath. Shows how potent that stuff can be!
