Interceptor Spectrum success?

Red bugs have finally caught up with me and I have gathered that Interceptor spectrum is the only treatment option at the moment? I have not been able to find a whole lot of testimonial as to how how smoothly treatments have gone with Spectrum. I am especially concerned about the side effects on my fish and clams of the secondary drug found in Spectrum.

Could people chime in on their success with interceptor spectrum?

What dosage did you use?

Were there any issues with your fish or clams ?

I did. I used 3/4 of a tablet to treat my 300g system with no side effects to the livestock other than the cleaner shrimp that i tried for a week to catch. To me there was no noticeable difference between the two.

Just finished 4 straight doses,1 every friday for a month on my 300

1 chewable large dog tablet, I used a cheese grater to grid it up
and mixed with tank water in a cup, lights out, skimmer, carbon and gfo off.
poured in by power head.

next morning, new carbon and 50 gallon water change.

everything did great though the process.

I did it twice as well with no issues. Corals actually seem to enjoy it. Increased PE as well. Clam was fine

I used 1/2 a large chew on 120g of water. Red bugs are gone after only one use but I should have done at least two to be safe. Pistol shrimp, snail and babies, all types of coral and fish survived. Ran carbon next day and did small water changes through the next week.

Yes, same as what I used. I treated with 1/4 of a large tab a week apart four times total. I also dipped the corals as it was a fairly new frag tank 60ish total gallons and wanted to be extra safe. I lost a couple frags and a snail but the frags were lost most likely from the dipping. All is happy now. My clam had no issues through out. Still need to replenish the copepods but no worries otherwise.

I just did my first treatment last night and everything went well besides having lost my Fire shrimp. Since my tank holds about 75g, I used a third of the chew, let it sit in hot RO water for 3 minutes, then mashed it up with a spoon.

Today, I did a 15 gallon water change and replaced my carbon. I cannot find one red bug in my tank so I'd say it worked. I'll be doing a second dose next Saturday.

Did you used 1/2 all at once or couple small dosage within 1/2 pill?

I used a half pill on my 120 sps tank dissolved half pill in some water and dumped all in shut down skimmer carbon and gfo and restarted everything next day and did a water change. I also did another treatment a week later . No more red bugs all corals and clams did great but pods and shrimp died and a few hermit crabs but bugs gone and corals look great. I used the large dog chewy that is pictured above.

1/2 a pill all at once. I planned on doing another half after one week but I didn't see red bugs and I got lazy. They aren't back but when I get new sps I will wait a month and dose the tank again.

I haven't read or experienced any algae or cyano problems. Keep the nutrients low, phosphates low and the mag high and it should ever be an issue.

Also wanted to add that my pod population is back in full force after treatment. Mandarin goby had no issues and is back to 24-7 pod snacking.

I dosed spectrum last night and as of this morning, I have not seen any negative effecton fish and corals. However, it's only been around 9 hours.
I mixed 1/2 pill with warm Rodi and the color was kinda pinkish. Took awhile to completely disolved.
All reactors were and still off and skimmer was running without air intake. I connected air intake in my skimmer (Alpha 170) this morning. The only thing i noticed was the water level on skimmer was lower after i connect the air intake. I will update later..

I used the chewable spectrum. 1/3 large pill for about 75 gallons total. worked well. polyps out and about for the last 3 months now.

I treated my nano last weekend. I used 1/20 of a pill, LOL! No bugs in sight, including pods. Biggest negative is I got an algae outbreak which I attribute to die off. I never had algae issues. I put in fresh purigen and carbon. I am skimmerless. Debating whether to do a second treatment this weekend or wait another week or two since its a nano. I did lose 1 acro, a deep water, but it never looked happy in my tank anyway.
