I am far from an expert in this area Sean. I do know that praziquantel is used for worms and flukes. It is the active ingredient in Prazipro from Hikari. Before anyone asks, a few people have tried it against the acropora eating flatworms with no success. I would have to double check the math, but at the "suggested dosage" of interceptor for red bugs, the amount of praziquantel added to your tank would roughly work out to half a dose of Prazipro (if the math is right).
I can't say from personal experience what praziquantel would do to an entire tank but it seems to have no effect on corals in a dip type situation.
This new and improved version of Interceptor won't be any more effective against the red bugs. I sure hope the old stuff is still going to be made.
Its been so long since I posted, I have no idea why I took the avatar off. I just stumbled into the forum today.
