I am interested in using a glass column jar (not intended for aquarium) as a micro tank. it would be interesting to have a small desktop tank with a 360 view. The tank itself is just under 3 gallons, and this concerns me as to stability issues. I would seed with liverock and livesand from my mature 55 gallon. and use a clip on led fixture, something like 8 bulbs. keeping zoos and entertaining the idea of a growout tank for juvi cardinals or something. Since the tank is so small i am also concerned with room for heater etc.I do have three of the glass columns, if i could link multiple together it could have its advantages but i have no idea how to do this. the more i type the less i think this is a realistic venture haha Idk comments advice?
