Roger, I am very interested in picking up one of these pumps. How do you rate these against eheim? I like how you can control the flow on these. I was looking for flow charts. Anyway you have the stats on the flow on the 1073.030 at about 4-5 feet head loss?

Scott, i'm not sure about the performance on the 1073.030 but my 1073.090 work very very well and it is not that loud either. I like the fact the pump always feel cold every time i touch it....

Thanks man for the heads up. I love the idea that you can adjust the flow and you can't beat Tunze's quality afterall. I will most likely be ordering one.

Ordered one!! Will be here monday. It will make an excellent feed pump for my Deltec AP702 which needs 610 GPH. I love the idea that you can control the flow with the variable dial. I will be ordering another one for my main return soon.

My 1073.090 has multiple responsibilities :D feed the deltec fluidized reactor, Carbon reactor, Calcium reactor, small prop tank and i still have plenty flow back into the main display.... You will be very happy with that pump.

I have been looking at the 1073.090 for a while now to replace my Iwaki MD70. I posted a thread for feedback but nobody has responded. I take it you guys are very happy with it? The data sheet from Tunze shows it is a 1.5 inch inlet? Is this really true?? Would there be an issue stepping it down to 1"?

Also where can I find the smaller 1073.030, .040 , .050 models sold? If those are variable speed, any idea if I can control them using the Tunze control cable on the GHL Profilux?

Thanks,

Erik
