I have a clarkie that hosts in a BTA. She started hosting within a day of me placing the nem in the tank. The first time I went to feed the anemone i had to distract her to put the food in its tentacles. The other day she was feeling particularly protective and wouldnt be distracted while I tried to feed the BTA. I just held the piece of shrimp in between my fingers and let my hand sit still in the tank about 6 inches or so from the anemone. I was hoping that she would let her guard down and I could get the shrimp close enough for the tentacles to grab it. Instead of doing that she swims up, and takes the shrimp from my fingers. Then swims it to the anemone and feeds it. I was pretty blown away.... clever fish. Anyway it has become a bit of a routine now where I hold my hand in the tank and she takes the food and feeds her best friend. Anyone else have a clarkie or other clown that does this sort of thing?
