A few weeks ago I purchased a few fish from Altpers0na. Two of which are a Flame Angel and a Midas Blenny. When I brought them home, I had both in my quarantine tank for a week. I wasn't really putting them through a quarantine since they were known to be healthy, just holding them there until I was ready.
First I added the Flame Angel and it has been doing well. Yesterday I finally finished a mod to my mesh tops so they can fit more securely thus making the tank ready to move the Midas over (about 2 weeks has passed). The Midas was pretty stressed and staying at the bottom of the tank in a corner. Within 10 minutes of adding him, I noticed the Flame swim over. He swam down to the Midas then turned and brushed up against him. He did this 3 or 4 times. The Flame almost acted like how a Clown does when hosting.
Any clue what they were doing? Is this common? There are a couple other fish in this tank and I haven't noticed the Flame do anything similar to any other of the fish. I though it was sort of funny, almost like he was saying hi to an old friend although I don't really believe that is the case.
