wooglin, did you by your clown pairs already paired? if so where did you get them. were looking for a clown pair of any type but would love the black...

my wife really wants a pair of black clowns but i cant even find any online. Ill just have to keep looking around. I didnt think id like them but they do look cool after seeing your pic.

I can't remember the name of the LFS just north of us across the border in KY -- but I think I remember that he sells black ones. I also think that Fishboy42 (in the ETRC forum) may sell some black ones. Not sure, though, but they are worth investigating.

The guy in KY (Bowling Green) might be Mitch at Fishey Business. I think he raises them.

thanks cumbletop, ill have to check around for them. I was gonna make a post in the next few weeks to find some and im willing to make a road trip if i cant find them in our area.

I got a black from Fishboy at the swap. He is so cute and turning blacker every day. They have alot of orange in them as babies I understand. He paired right up with my big orange female. She had just lost her black male to a filter intake incedent...Unlike nemo on the movie my poor clown couldn't outpower the force sucking him into the propeller 
I would recomend a mixed pair. You have the best of both worlds that way This was my original mixed pair which I lost a long time ago....
I just had to pair another set up after I also killed the black one off from my new pair... She took right to the new baby! They are going on a indefinet loan to my back door neighbors house next week with the 29 I am lending her though. She wants to try her hand at saltwater now that she has seen my tanks.

I was just thinking the same thing earlier. she isnt into corals yet though so thats a good thing. she was checking out the clams at ac though so that could get costly.
angela, i was telling my wife that a mix pair would look cool to so thats cool that you actually have them so i can show her now. she thought it would look funny but i thought it would be cool. im talking to fishboy about getting the blacks.
