Alright, I've had my onyx perc Oprah Finfrey and true perc Dr. Gil for a few months now. Upon opening their shipping bags, say February, they went to a 10g QT. While in QT, they went through a 4 week period of cupramine for suspected ich on Dr. Gil. During copper treatment I noticed recurring stringy white poo. First thought was maybe too much mysis, though they only get fed mysis(still) twice a week. After copper I decided to treat with prazipro that I have on hand. Instead of doing the recommended 1-2 weeks I did 3. Everything seemed ok for the remainder of QT.
I added them to DT back in April and had still noticed on and off stringy poo from both clowns, but none from any of their tank mates. I'm on week 3 of focus/metroplex and as of the other day, I'm still seeing some stringy poo from Oprah Finfrey. I'm kinda at a loss. Copper, prazipro, metro, and still have the poo issue. Both fish are fat, both fish eagerly greet me at the surface of the tank to eat anything I give them, and neither display any signs of stress. They bounce between their 4 btas and lta throughout the day.
If this is a parasite, though I'd think at least one other fish in the tank would have showed signs by now, what is my next step?
Thank you!
