Internal vs. External pump

Well I think the iwaki 30rxl is going to be the ticket. Is this a good pump? I heard iwaki is one of the standards for external pumps.

What do you guys think about the Sicci 12 for a return pump on a 265 gallon DT. I think they can either be internal or external...

Iwaki pumps are excellent and cheap to fix. when i got my used setup i was given 2 working iwakis and 2 broken iwakis. $20 later i had 4 working iwaki pumps. i currently use 2 iwaki 100 rlt pumps on my tank

I recently went from a mag 18 to a reeflo blowhole 2700. Its dead silent and has three different setting for flow. The bad thing is I wanted the heat from a submersible pump but couldn't find one big enough for the 18' sump to tank trip. Way more power less energy on the reeflo.
