Introducing a cleaner shrimp

Hi Guys!

I have a 20 gallon tank with a pair of clowns and my only coral is GSP. I have one hermit and a few brittle stars that came with me live rocks. I purchased this from a guy on Craigslist. He had them in a 10 Gal Tank for 2 years. I recently moved them into the 20 after it cycled and was wondering if it would be safe adding a cleaner shrimp and more CUC or would you guys recommend QT them before adding them to the display tank? Does ich or other parasites attach to these invertebrates?

Oh and I plan on getting the CUC from reefcleaners if anyone has had experience with them. Getting the shrimp from my LFS.

Love reefcleaners! John is a great guy and one of the few in the hobby I like to support on a regular basis. Add a couple chitons to your CUC, you'll thank me later. Those little buggers will eat everything and anything on the rock(I can always tell where they've been as the rock is back to white). They have teeth made from the hardest material known to man(yes harder then diamonds), so if you have an acrylic tank, forget them. I've read where they can leave bite marks on acrylic tanks. Mine have never moved off my rocks.

Inverts normally don't carry ich, but one stage of its life(tomont stage maybe? I forget now) it can live on their shells. While I have never QT'ed inverts, most will tell you to Qt anything wet.

I'd QT them. The only addition to my tank in many months was a bunch of unquarantined snails. A week later (this week, actually) a fish showed signs of Brooklynella and died within 12 hours. The snails are fine. All in all, it took out 6/8 fish within a span of 48 hours. Never again.
