introducing green bubble tip

Just got a green bubble tip from a buddy to give a go in my 90 gallon. This was one of several splits he has had with the original. The tank has been running for 3 years or so and I have 48,3watt led from rapid. Same lights he has on his 130 gallon. I have soft corals mainly in the tank. Have a wp40 blowing water madly as well as 2 tunze 6045's at the top to make the leds shimmer.
Question: How should I introduce the animal, it is presently in bag acclimating now for the past hour. Thanks

Well hopefully you have it in the tank by now. I usually just test the SG of the water in the bag and compare to the tank SG. If it's the same then I just float for temperature equalization and add a few cups of DT water to the transport bag. After a while remove half the water in the bag and discard it, and then put another couple of cups in. All in all this takes 30-45 minutes. Then I remove the anemone from the bag and put it in the DT discarding all water in the transport bag. I'd turn off powerheads and let it settle in.

How's it doing today?

Thanks for your help. The acclimmation was not a problem. I was wondering more about how to place it etc. Basically the dos and dont's. I just placed it on some rubble on tank bottom and it didn't move much. Very vibrant, just waiting to see what it's going to do. I have 2 tunze and a wp40 on the full time. Should I cover them with some pantyhose or leave them. Thanks

Yes, cover them. It will most likely move into the rockwork as they like to hide their foot in a crevace. You might turn your Power Heads to half strength for a day or so and give it a chance to settle in. Depending on your lighting and the anemone it will move to the place where it's happy. Keep an eye on it and don't feed it for a while.
