introducing new fish-order

I want to add a royal gramma and a coral beauty at different times to my existing 58 gal tank. Does it matter what order I follow? My LFS has a nice coral beauty, but no royal grammas at this time, and I would like to get the coral beauty unless adding a royal gramma later would cause a war. Thanks.
