introducing new fish

I got a 100 gallon reef with a 36 gallon sump. I hear many stuff about FW dip and other dips for like formalin before quarantining. I found the Seachem paraguard. Has anyone actually tried it? *Does it work to replace formalin, cupramine and all those other preventative and parasite killing medications?* If you have had experience with it, do you know if I can just add doses to the quarantine tank instead of medicine dips? -thank you!

I'm a fan of SeaChem; but Paraguard is one of those "does everything'' meds and I've never known one of them to do anything. I don't dip fish before going into QT and I especially avoid Formalin unless its needed. I prefer to get fish acclimated and eating in QT first. Then decide on doing preventative treatments, there are lots of opinions in this area----so research & decide.
