Introducing the "Jokers Wild" Acropora....

I picked this beauty up last week and no one seems to be able to ID it for me so I named it! (If anyone does have a ID please let me know)

My LFS is kinda parterned with a Bali direct importer so he gets a lot of "ultra" grade corals and really has no idea what he has.

I have a frag of the exact same frag. i got it from a local reefer. Same thing, $30 for the frag. Make sure you keep it high in the tank. mine is at the top of the rock. its getting close to 400 PAR. When it was lower it didnt have that pop that you see.

FWIW I got this one too.
thinner branches and more of a blueberry color with the green/yellow just on the tips....

Kinda but the A. Cerealis has thinner more elongated coralites...

It may be a morph of Incrediable Hulk.

Should be fine I have it about 8" below the water under 250w XM10K that are 7" above the water...


Could you post a pic of your frag and ask the guy you got it form if he has a name?

Well after looking and looking and looking....

It kinda resembles a "Purple Plasma" Acro.

Any thought?
