Introducing Zoanthids

So my 5 month old tank is moving along slowly and I recently purchased my first Zoanthids ... a square slab of cement with various colors attached. How easy is it to get these to move off their 'home' rock. I placed it near some of my rock, but I'm not sure the positioning is good enough.

Do they only reproduce via splitting?

They will form new polyps from the base.
It doesn't happen from day to night in many cases.
People like to see pictures, so if you post some images they will be happier to reply.
Make sure you read lots of threads here about zoas and you'll learn that way about diseases, predation, best water quality, light, maintenance, feeding, etc..
Many will tell you they are fairly easy to maintain actually.

they grow sort of like a mat and make new polyps and basically grow outwards on to the rock
