Intteruptus Angel

I just got my Intteruptus this morning and I was wondering if anybody around the tampa area could give me some tips on keeping her.

I never said I did not know how to take care of it amheck. I dont know what gave you that idea. Dont start something that does not need to be started...

So what sort of tips are you looking for then?

I have had one for a few months now and it is doing very well.
They are one of the hardier pygmy angels if you can get a healthy speciman. They are not very tolerant of copper meds. They tend to get larger than most pygmys so make sure you have a decent size tank.
I feed mine nori, mysis, angel formula, brine, and blood worms and it eats like a pig.

just curious locally are they cheaper then online. i saw different places selling them around 800 then one site had it for 1200 something

I got mine online for $700 and I have seen them locally ranging from $850-$1200.
There must be some new collector that is getting these more frequently because I have seen them available in more abundance recently.

I think locally they are a little more.. I paid $700 for mine too. I agree with triggerfish that they are becoming more available and maybe the prices will go down on them. But then again this is the time of the year that they come to the US.

so how big do they get. i guess under MHS; this fish would be awesome looking. ( i personally think MHS make fish look thier best) JMO

they can get up to 5inchs

just for info a guy just came into work the other day that is a good friend of the store and brought in a 5 inch interuptus he picked up at fins for like $900 i think

I tried to buy one from them, but evertime they said they had one comming in "tomorrow" it never showed up. Dont mean to slam them but they dont keep their word very good.

I find the exact same thing. its always " oh man i got some of those coming in on..." then ya go in and its never there i understand wanting to get people to come in but atleast get what you say you will. i used to run down there every time "it" was coming but now I dont even bother unless i happen to be in the area. i will say i do like there new set up. much nicer looking.

Yeah I dont go down there much anymore unless im in the area. And if they say it will be in I just call and ask. They have never gotten anything in that they said they were going to get in. But I do have to have to say that they have given me pretty good deals befor.
