Inverts in an eel/lionfish tank

Am I pushing my luck by putting Turbo Snails, crabs and maybe cleaner shrimp in a tank with a snowflake eel and a volitan Lionfish?

I don't think a shrimp would last 10 seconds with my lion. I have emeralds, nassarus(sp?), turbos, astrea's, lots of stomatellas.

The shrimp will be a snack for sure.....I tried a 4" purple lobster once....went into the tank the same day as the 12" snowflake (at lunch)......by the time I got home from work the lobster was in about 4 pieces. Hard lesson learned. I have large turbo snails in the tank with no problems though.....they are also co-existing with a 30" Zebra eel, 2 eels, and a trigger.....nobody bothers the snails.....

I have a large tiger cowrie and a large hermit crab in there also......no problems there either.

Not a lionfish fan so I can't say about them, but your snowflake should be OK with turbos and very large hermits.

lions are fine with snails, i have one lion that learnt how to get at hermits so they are a gamble...shrimp are a expensive snack

Yeah lost some hermits to my lion too, the lion will DEFINATELY EAT the shrimp BELIEVE ME!! Stupid mistake and not listening when i first started out cost me 3 fireshrimp in a weekend at a total of Ã"šÃ‚£75 sterling or approx and i mean approx $140ish, and lion still wanted feeding after that and the shrimp were a good size to!!!
