inverts with pipefish

hello,
i have been periodically posting about setting up a pipefish tank. all the info/feedback has been great so far, and i thank everyone for it. however, there are still a few things im concerned with; mainly, what sort of inverts can i keep with pipefish?

i have 4 lysmata shrimp that i plan on putting into the tank with the pipes, as well as a few grazer snails. i would like to also put in about 4 nassarius snails (not positve on the spelling. they stay in the sand mostly). my main cocern will be the crabs though. i would like to get on or two emerald crabs (Mythrax sculptus). although ive never had a problem with these guys before, i have no experience with keeping pipefish, and i dont want them to feel threatened/get attacked by the crabs. i figured this would be a good alternative to keeping a blenny; i know sometimes blennies can be rather aggressive and territorial...

so i guess what im asking is does everyone think those crabs would be ok? and if not, what would be a good algea crew for a pipefish tank

(also, the tank size will either be a 60 gallon cube (24X24X24) or a standard 40 breeder (39X18X ....16?))

I have put emerald crabs and all the shrimp's and all tipe's of snails ther will be enuff food for them all to eat they will not attacked your pipefish your prob will be your overfolw dont have to much flow that they get traped in or to the box and put a bunch of pods in the tank and then wate untill you see the pods runing about the tank your pipe's love to hunt them I put my pipe/SH tank up 6mon's be for i ever got eney pipe's or SH's but that was a 75g tank.
Good luck and have fun with your pipe tank..

thanks!

thats good to know that youve had success keeping the crabs with pipes.

also, in regards to the crabs, its not like it wouldnt be possible to just net them out of the tank :)

any other thoughts?
