IO salt.......Where?

Petsmart will match their online price. I did it before, just print out their online price, and show it to cashier during checkout. The current price is $32.

Petco is extremely expensive for IO (at least the one near us is). As noted, PetSmart is much more competitively priced.

Pet Club has the cheapest price for IO (I think 13.99 sometimes 9.99 if it's on sale). But you're in Dublin so I'm not sure if you want to drive all the way to Emeryville or hayward to save few bucks.

Lucky Ocean in SF has it for about $10 per bag (it might be $11 now), although don't know if the trip is worth it for the money you'll save unless you buy a lot.

I buy all my salt from Drs Foster and Smith online. It's the only website I've seen that doesn't charge for weight when ordering salt or substrate. IO is now 9.99 and 32.99. There is usually a $9 minimum shipping charge but the charge doesn't increase much for multiple bags-for example, 3 of the 160 gallons cost a dollar more ($10) to ship. Seems like with the larger buckets the shipping charges go up $1 for each additional bucket. I think with the small bags it increases a dollar for every 3-5 additional bags you order. I usually order 3 large buckets at a time-it costs me more than $10 in gas and time to drive to the LFS and then I usually have to pay more for the product anyway. BTW, they starting not charging weight fees a few months ago.

I was at Petco yesterday and was shocked (shocked I say!) the 160g salt bucket was $63 !!!

I bought my last 160g bucket (160gallons of salt water potential, not 160g of salt!) from Drs. Foster & Smith due to the reasonable price and no extra shipping charge. Got other stuff with it.

The bucket before that was a 200g bucket back in the day when PetSmart accidentally had free shipping! (200g buckets weigh like 60 fricken pounds!)

Most LFS only fluctuate by a buck or two, but what's up with Petco selling tanks for $1/gallon, then selling salt at more than double what other LFS sell for? Of course selling cheap tanks will lead to people coming back for fish and salt and food ... clever...
