Iodine Dip?

Does anyone know anything about this? I am intrested in what it is sayed about how it can help the over all health of stressed corals. Any info or a link to a place I can lean would help. Thanks

I think I use "reef dip" by seachem. All I know is that it hasn't killed any of my corals yet and they're all thriving. Whether or not the dip has helped.... who knows. google "reef dip" and you can read about it. there are a ton of them on the market.

I think what you're referring to is usually called "Lugol's." It's an iodine based dip that many people use for various dips. You can check the stickies on top of the various coral forums for info on dips, etc.

ill second the reef dip. it cured brown jelly on one of my flower pot frags.

What is the brown jelly you are talking about? I have had that before after I took a frag and lost a frag.

just an infection tha some coral can get and kill them. i lost half that frag till i diped it
