iPhone5 white balance

I just want to be able to shoot pics with my iphone that aren't all blue looking. Is there a better app to use on my iphone? Seems like I should be able to point the phone at a white object in the tank --set the color to white, and then shoot with proper coloration. Any idea how to get the coloring right?

Camera+ is pretty good. I'm not sure if it has any white balance settings, but I use it for post processing. You're able to use filters to increase the red which neutralizes the overpowering blue. Though if you're trying to shoot with just your blue actinics on I don't think the optics can handle it.

Its tough regardless what app you use on your phone. I use these glasses people around me call "magic glasses". It filters the blue and lets you take wicked pictures. Let alone just looking through them at your tank is pretty sweet. Here a few pictures I took recently under two AI Vega Blue's with added custom pucks with UV and Violet. No red and green.

The images look a lot clearer on my phone itself but for some reason I can upload the same quality to the computer and then to RC. Also my blue led's are the only ones on and are at 35%.

I was wondering why all my iPhone pics were coming out with the blue hue even though I got a 20k MH bulb...

My cousin has an iPhone 4 and doesn't get that much blueness on his pictures, but my iPhone 5 looks absolutely ridiculous...

Glad I'm not the only one.

There in lies the big difference between a dslr, a point and shoot and an iPhone... In a few years as the cameras in the phones get better the point and shoots will be gone....

Blux Camera app will allow you change WB in-app but it tops out at 10K. Still, it's an improvement.

On my 4s the pics were "normal" under 3 10k Gleisman & 3 actinic T5s. Switched to an ATI coral, blue, purple combo and my pics too are all blue.

Do any of the android phones have cameras that can overcome this? From what I've read some android based phones are utilizing more capable cameras than the Apple iPhones. Having a zoom function would be nice.

What are these glasses you use? I though I saw something on ************.blog about a filter for shooting with LEDs.
