Bongo Shrimp
P. ceratophthalma
Been growing this slow growing macro for about year now since finding a tiny strand on a new piece of LR. I thought it was tine to take a new pic of it. It is very picky as well and sometimes just does off for no reason. Luckily I keep multiple redundancies in my other tanks. So far this piece has been growing well. I tried to take a macro shot of it as I have done before but it is very hard to get a perfectly focused shot with the iridescence. Tried to take the pic near where I took the old ones to show the growth but it's hard to tell since it grows so slow. Maybe just more color than anything else.
And heres a pic of what I believe is the same species I found while exploring some tide pools on vacation. It definitely looks more blue in the intense sunlight and from far away. Also has slightly thicker branches, probably from the surges of water in the tide pools. The green parts are dead or dying. I know from experience
