Hey guys so I pulled the trigger on an upgrade. Purchased a 150g cube (36.36.27). Will be building a custom stand. However my question is in regards to the sump. I currently have a custom 26g (24.16.16). Perfect for my 75g in regards to it holding all water if/when I turn off all power in the house.
I keep hearing bigger is better when it comes to a sump but I'm working with limited space. So want I would like to know is in your experience is a 26g sump enough for a 150g tank?

Yes bigger is better but if your only able to have space for a 26 gallon then that's all you can do something is better then nothing so your able to grow the macro algae and have live rock and have a skimmer to clean the water from all the waste unless you want that stuff in the display tank which some people do they have a hob skimmer and have some micro algae Growing up there
