Is 6020 compatable with an on/off wavemaker?

Hey there,

Just like it says. Wondering if I can use this in an on/off application or will it be prone to failure or clicking etc.

It will click and what tends to happen is over time the rubber stops for the propeller will pull down and bind the propeller, it is not recommended.

The 6040 includes a wavemaker and can be speed controlled as it is DC and the price is very reasonable considering the additional cost of a wavemaker and a 6020.
