is a 55 gallon long consider a nano?

if a 55 long is consider a nano lets see some pics? im thinkin about doin one and makin my 29 my sump

This topic comes up at least every week....

There is no hard and fast rule, nor does it matter, what a nano tank is.

I would call anything 20gal or under a nano. Others consider 30gal or less. I call my 12g a nano tank but not my 37g.

Most would not call a 55g a nano, especially with a 29g sump.

Huh? What debate?

Both the "Reef Discussion" and "New to the Hobby" forums are good places for most general questions.

If you look under the "reef discussion" you will find a thread called "lets see your 55 gallon tanks" or something similarly named..
