Is a Petco perc going to be a juvenile?

Is it safe to assume the Petco fish I just bought is a juvenile? Also I just put the 3 year old perc I am going to try to pair it with back in the 150 ( 3 days in a 10 gallon ) last nite after re-rockscaping. Any need to rearrange the rock work so soon after? Any input truly appreciated!!:spin1:!!

My guess would be yes, it should be less than an inch and a half.

Any input on the rockwork....I know how territorial my clown is....

As long as you have a juvy, and intro properly(in a specimen container or floating breeder cup) and see no aggression from the existing female, should be no need to rearrange rock work.
Rockwork rearrange is usually to fool territorial fish like tangs, your issue is different, just getting the female to accept a male, and sometimes they just flat out refuse some males for reasons unknown.
