Is an imparator angel safe for hypo?

I am trying to cure my beautiful imparator angel from bad ick.
Is it safe for hypo? or Do I go for a copper treatment?

Please help out?

They do very well in hypo if you check the pH daily and add a buffer as needed. Use a refractometer to measure the salinity not a cheap plastic hydrometer.
