Is Anemone in danger?

Hello, a relative of mine just added an anemone to their tank. It has been in the tank for only hours and so is currently at the bottom, in the back. However, they have a peppermint shrimp that has begun to harass the anemone. Is there danger to the anemone...the BTA is about 3-4 inches wide. Thanks

Harass the anemone or trying to feed of any dying/decaying portions? I've never seen my shrimps harass my anemone except when I feed it. Could it be possible that the anemone might be on its way out?

my pep shrimp litterally ate the tentacles off of my rbta. at one point the anemone was just a disc. i removed the pep and anemone is now recovering. has all tentacles back but is really bleached.

Peps always eat nems - think APTASIA.

I wouldn't say "always" I have peps with my Haddonis, and they aren't causing any issues. The only time I had an issue was when I first introduced a new Haddoni, when it wasn't fully settled in they would bother it a bit, but that stopped within a few days.

Yes, peppermints do eat nems - but only if its all they can get to stop them starving. I suggest overfeed in the tank for a week or so and then a big water change. Worked for me in the past and I have always recommended that as a first attempt.
Cheers
Keith
