Is anyone using lock line instead of pvc ? I know its expensive, but I had somethings I wanted to try out. I read that it is NOT leak proof. Has anyone had experience good or bad using this stuff ?
Thanks

Lots of people use it inside the tank. I can't think of one person who's ever used it as external plumbing if that's what you mean.

I do not believe that Loc Line is pressure rated. Like Funky said I would not use it out side the tank. I use it for my returns and I love it. A little pricey but very flexible for dirrecting water where you want it.

I use it inside my tank. It is really flexible & has tons of options for gettign flow to those hard to reach areas.

I think the blue lock line is leak proof and pressure rated. There is a considerable difference between the black that every one uses in the tanks and the blue. Its what the machine shops and factories use to pump oil and coolant with, I think the orange stuff is even better.

I went on modularhose.com they sell it in many colors, blue, grey, white, black and the site says it is leak resistant but not leak proof

It is not leak proof, it will seep water, especially if you try to move it after its been in the tank for a while. I had it on a manifold and it worked fine for that but you will get saltcreep on it. So if you plan on using it make sure its inside the tank.
