Is anyone using RO/DI on their nano waters?

I have a OCEAN WAVE FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI from the Filter Guys. I swear by it and I use it on all my tanks. I paid $158 w/shipping.

I Have the Typhoon III from Air Water Ice, easy to install and does a good job for the price.

Since i Have a NANO, its 29gal. I simply went to the grocery store, and Bought RODI bottled water in 2.5gallon containers to fill my tank.

I continue to Do WaterChanges, and TopOff with this water, and its pretty much the same.

If i were to upgrade to a larger tank, I would buy a Real System

I bought the same one that reefman 13 did, from thefiltergus, paid the same amount. An excellent unit, I could never go without it now!!

I have my 8 gallon in my research lab, so I use lab water. We use a machine that makes analytical grade water. Its called milli-Q and its made by millipore. Works great. But ultra expensive.

Yes! Anything but RO water at a bare minimum is just making life harder on yourself and you tank.

We purchased the 100 GPD RO/DI model from melevsreef.com for ~$169 plus shipping: delivery was speedy and customer service was great (I had a couple of questions setting up which he quickly answered), plus it felt good supporting a person, melev on reefcenral, who has shared so many great DIY threads here on reefcentral. We are now using for RO drinking water from included tee while we are setting up our tank.
