Got it a while back as part of a sps pack from somebody here.
It is bluish-grey in color. It grows really fast too.

I agree. Most likely Echinopora lamellosa. I don't have much info for you. The individuals I have seen in captivity show a fast growth rate (as you mentioned with your piece) and I believe in general this is a common species. I do not believe that this would be considered a SPS coral.

A blue chalice it is then. It really does grow fast. I've fragged it level to the rock a couple times before and soon enough its back to what it looks in the pic.
